Well, for those of you who are into the whole Rock Band/Guitar Hero style of video game...this week held some huge news - the release of a Beatles game, made by the Rock Band team. No word yet on whether the songs can be imported into the Rock Band game (as the new AC/DC disc can). Either way - this Beatles game sounds like a winner to me...and it marks their entry into the world of digital music - maybe iTunes will be next?????
Philly wins World Series
Yeah...I know the main focus of this blog is sports. So how is this the #2 story behind a music/video game announcement???? Well...because more people are probably interested, judging from the ratings. I have to admit, this is the first time in years that I watched almost none of the WS live (just watched highlights after the fact, for the most part). Phillies win. Congrats to them - and to the Rays for a huge turnaround season.
#1 Texas loses
Another one bites the dust! Top of the poll is apparently no place to be this year!! This college football season has definitely been an unpredictable one...and it seems like nobody is out of the hunt. Looks like Alabama should jump to the #1 spot...which may be bad news come next week!
Last but not least:
Election is coming! Get out and vote - November 4!! Whoever your candidate is, get out there and make your voice hear...your votes do count, regardless of what you may think!
